Salem County press release regarding the State of New Jersey failing to allocate doses of the vaccine to our county. ... See MoreSee Less
Yep, now I guess ya gotta be thankful to get one if ya drive 30+ mins
Other than it's not Delaware, tell me one good thing about New Jersey
Hey... Delaware isn't all bad... I live here... Property tax and car insurance are cheaper, and no sales tax...

Salem County finally gets 100 doses of the vaccine ... yes, only 100 doses. Laughable. And Wednesday they finally determine that the fire service is eligible. As if that’s not enough of a punch in the face, today they reallocated those 100 doses elsewhere. “Profoundly disappointing”.
Clarification: Salem County DID receive those 100 doses. They were quickly administered to healthcare workers, as it should be. It was the additional doses expected this week, wherein first responders would have been eligible, that were reallocated elsewhere. While I apologize for any misleading information, I remain disappointed that Salem County continues to get pushed aside ... Chief Ayars. ... See MoreSee Less
ya dont want the first batch anyways. 🤷🏻♂️😏🤣🤣
I am hoping you all get the vaccine ASAP! We need to protect our first responders .
Our fearless leader governor is going to hang the red counties out to dry 😡 total bs
As a back up plan, make sure you put yourselves on the NJDOH list. Easy to use.
All up north. Sad to see south south jersey treated this way.
So, in about 25 days they are averaging nationwide 267529 shots per day. It should only take 1237 days (3.38 years) for everyone to get the first shot! Oh wait, we all need two shots for maximum protection. covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#vaccinations
Sorry for your loss. He was a great guy.
Sadly, we must announce the passing of Washington Fire Company No. 3 exempt firefighter, Trux Mifflin. We lost Trux today after he battled a brief illness for the past few weeks. Trux joined Washy in 1970 and served actively until 2000. During his time with Washy he served in several capacities, both administrative and operational. But most notably Trux was the Chief Engineer of Engine 6-3, or "Salem 3" as it was for most of his time, for something like 15-20-25 years! Trux was a good man, a great apparatus engineer, and an outstanding member of Washy and the Salem Fire Department. He will be missed ... ... See MoreSee Less

Ladder 6 operated on a small single family dwelling fire this afternoon on Walnut Street.
PSA ... the use of surge protecting power strips are intended to protect the equipment plugged into them. Surge protectors (“power strips”) do not eliminate the hazard of overloaded outlets. Please limit the number of items plugged into one outlet.

Are you going to have any events for children this year ?
Also two things to point out: 1. Most Power Strips sold at Dollar Tree are NOT surge protectors. 2. Never plug a space heater into a power strip or surge protectors. It will overload.
My parent's house was 29 Walnut....that first house next to the church. It looks sad. Hope the fire wasn't there.
at least they got the Budweiser 🤣
